يعد الحب الإلهي عند عبد الرحمن الجامي (ت 898هـ) محورا لجميع قضايا التصوف الكبرى التي ناقشها في كل مؤلفاته، ففلسفته للحب هي حجر الأساس في تجربته الروحية كلها، ويظهر هذا جليا في مؤلفاته، حتى أن آراءه الكلامية لا تنفك عن أقواله في الحب الإلهي، فهو يعبر عن تجربته الصوفية من خلال فلسفته للحب من جميع زواياه، وقد اعتمدت في هذا البحث على المنهج التحليلي النقدي المقارن، وهذا للكشف عن الحب الإلهي وموضوعه وأسبابه ودرجاته وأقسامه.
