Overview
This research aims to study the image of the hero in Mai Jia's novel \"Decoded\" in the light of the theory of multiple intelligences. Therefore, the research depends on the use of the content analysis method of research. \"Rong Jin Zhen\" has a very high mathematical intelligent as a result of the genetic and societal factors, while his interpersonal intelligence is weak, not because of heredity, but because of the society he lived in, who rejected him since birth. According to traditional theory of intelligence, \"Rong Jin Zhen\" is a highly intelligent person, but according to Gardner's multiple intelligences, \"Rong Jin Zhen's\" mathematical intelligence is at its highest, in contrast to the weakness of interpersonal intelligence. In this way, the psychological features of \"Rong Jin Zhen\" indeed were a real picture of the role he would play in deciphering secret military codes, which needs an outstanding mathematical genius.
