هدف المقال إلى التعريف ببرنامج صفحات الانتشار (إكسل Excel). مُشيرًا أن (إكسل Excel) اسم لبرامج الانتشار (Spread-Sheet) والتي صممت لتخدم بالدرجة الأولى مجالات المال والأعمال كالمحاسبة وغيرها. وهو بالإضافة إلى صحته ودقته وسرعته في إجراء العلميات الحسابية فإنه يختصر الوقت والجهد اللازم لإعداد العمليات المتعلقة بالجداول، كالقوائم المالية، من جمع وطرح وضرب وقسمة وغيرها من العمليات كالمتوسطات وأعلى قيمة وأدنى قيمة، وأيضًا نسخ وقص ولصق وغيرها، وهو من البرامج التي تعمل تحت مظلة (Microsoft Office). وأضاف المقال أن برنامج صفحات الانتشار (Excel) في كافة التطبيقات التي تحتاج إلى تنظيم البيانات في شكل جداول (صفوف وأعمدة)، كما يستخدم في العديد من المجالات الأخرى التي تتطلب التعامل مع الأرقام الكثيرة. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل المنظومة 2022
