Overview
تؤثر المخصبات الكيماوية للتربة في مصر على كمية الإنتاج الزراعي وجودته، ووصل عدد مصانعها 22 مصنعا أنتجت 21 مليون طن عام 2019 بأنواعها المختلفة، وتتوطن في الوادي والدلتا وإقليم قناة السويس حيث تتوفر عوامل قيامها، وتوفر 9.6 مليون طن للاستهلاك المحلي مع تصدير 11.4 مليون طن، لكنها تعاني من أزمات خاصة بالكميات والأنواع التي توزع على المزارعين. وأسهم مصنع دمياط للمخصبات الآزوتية بنسبة 8.6% من إجمالي الإنتاج السنوي لمصر عام 2019 تذهب للاستهلاك المحلي والتصدير، وتوجد آثار سلبية على مكونات البيئة في منطقة المصنع لكنها ليست بالقدر الكبير، كما ينتج عنه آثار اقتصادية منها ما هو إيجابي وآخر سلبي، ويمكن النهوض بهذه الصناعة من خلال الإدارة الجيدة لها وتلافي آثارها السلبية.
