نحاول من خلال هذا المقال إبراز دور الجمعيات في عملية تسيير النفايات المنزلية من خلال إظهار أهميتها داخل مجتمع المدينة، حيث تعد الجمعيات سواء كانت جمعيات حي، أو جمعيات بيئية ناشطة في مجال النفايات شريك ثالث في عملية تسيير القمامة وذلك بطريقة شرعية، وقد حدد القانون حصة هذا الشريك من العملية ككل.
