Overview
المعجم في كل أمة مرآة حياتها، وديوان كلامها، فالثروة اللغوية التي حوتها بطون المعاجم أعز ما تملكه الأمم، وقد عني هذه البحث بالدراسات النقدية التي ألفت حول معجم الصحاح، وذكر نتائجها إذ لم يكن الاستدراك على المعاجم في اللغة ظاهرة اعتباطية، إنما حكمتها عدة ضوابط كشفت عنها هذه الدراسة؛ ذلك لأن اللغة المعبرة عن ذلك لا تكاد تحد، أو لا ينبغي أن تحد سعة وتجددا؛ لتلاحق كل جديد في الحياة.
