Overview
لمجالس الإملاء أهمية كبيرة في حياة المحدثين حيث كان لها الدور الكبير في حماية سنة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكان من أوجه عناية العلماء بالسنة النبوية المطهرة عقد مجالس للإملاء وذلك لضبطها في الكتب بالإضافة إلى ضبطها في الصدور وحفظهم لها. وكانت مجالس العلماء للإملاء مشهورة معروفة عندهم، ونشأ بناءً على ذلك مصنفات حديثية جديدة تسمى بـ \"الأمالي\" وتناول ذلك العلماء في مؤلفاتهم، ووضعوا للإملاء آداب تتعلق بالمملىِ والمملى عليه، وطريقة تحرير الإملاء حتى ينضبط الكتاب من التصحيف والتحريف.
