تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى بحث الشركات الوقفية المعاصرة من حيث ضبط مفهومها وتحرير مصطلحها والتفريق بينها وبين الكيانات الأخرى المشابهة لها وذلك بالإشارة إلى مواطن الشبه والاختلاف، بالإضافة إلى بيان أدلة مشروعيتها وعرض أهم المقاصد الشرعية والمسوغات المؤسسية والاقتصادية التي تدفع نحو إنشائها، انتهاء بمحاولة عرض أبرز الآثار الاقتصادية والتنموية في حال تطبيقها.
