Overview
اختلفت وجهة نظر العربية مع تشومسكي من حيث نمط ترتيب الركن الفعلي في الجملة على الرغم من قول بعض التوليديين العرب بذلك؛ لأن قواعد اللغة الإنجليزية لا تنعكس على العربية، لكن حذف الأفعال يمثل حذفا لركن أساس من أركان الجملة ويجب أن يتم على وفق ضوابط معينة، هذا البحث يدرس الفعل باعتباره عنصرا حيويا في المنهج التوليدي؛ لأنه أخذ موقع الصدارة في البنية العميقة التي يضعها هذا المنهج في مقدمة اهتماماته.
