Overview
شهد مناخ العراق خلال الزمن الرابع، وبعصريه البلايستوسين والهولوسين تغيرات مناخية عدة، ومن أهم هذه التغيرات هي الفترات الجليدية المتعاقبة، والتي أسهمت بشكل أو بأخر في انقراض مجموعة كبيرة من الحيوانات والنباتات، ونمو وتطور مجموعة أخرى، وتهدف الدراسة إلى قراءة وتحليل الكتب المرجعية التي ذكرت التغيرات المناخية، فضلا عن ذكر أهم الآثار المكتشفة والتي تدل على نمو وتكاثر بعض من النباتات والحيوانات التي كانت تشتهر بها بلاد الرافدين ما بين النهرين ومن أهم هذه الحيوانات هي الأسود، والفيلة، والوعول الضخمة، والطيور.
