هدف البحث الى التعرف على الاختلافات بين معيار العناية المهنية اللازمة للمراجعة باعتباره معيار من المعايير العامة ومقارنتها بمحتويات معايير المراجعة الدولية وقد خلصت الدراسة الى انه لم تدرج معايير الدولية للمراجعة معيار خاص بالعناية المهنية وإنما أدرجتها في فقرات، ان التزام المراجع بتطبيق معايير المراجعة الدولية عند القيام بعملية المراجعة يعتبر المستوى المطلوب لمعيار العناية المهنية اللازمة.
