تسعى هذه الورقة العلمية إلى توضيح القراءة الدلالية لتعبير الأحلام، ووضعها في الإطار العلمي والتفسيري لرموزها وإشاراتها السوسيوثقافية، إضافة إلى الوقوف على خلفيتها النفسية السيكولوجية، ذلك أن ما يقوم به مفسر الأحلام هو عمل سيميائي بامتياز، كما يقول ميشال أريفي في كتابه اللساني واللاوعي، ومن جهة أخرى إظهار النظام السيميائي الذي يعمل به ابن سيرين رحمه الله في تفسيره للأحلام، وكذا التوظيف الدلالي لهذا التفسير الدراسات السيميائية المتخصصة في تفسير الأحلام ودلالاتها النفسية والاجتماعية.
