تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى معالجة موضوع: تأثير جائحة فيرس كورونا (كوفيد-19) على قطاع النقل الجوي، من خلال التعريف بالفيروس وتطور انتشاره، بالإضافة إلى التطرق للآثار المترتبة على قطاع الطيران، من خلال تحليل أثره على حركة المسافرين الشحن الجوي، والعمالة. وقد خلصت الدراسة أن لجائحة فيروس كورونا أثر كبير ولم يقتصر هذا الأثر على قطاع النقل الجوي فحسب بل امتد إلى قطاعات أخرى مثل السياحة العالمية وهذا نتيجة لغلق المطارات والقيود على السفر التي فرضتها الحكومات، مما أدى إلى شل الحركة أمام المسافرين.
