Overview
المعتزلة مدرسة فكرية أختلف في تاريخ نشأتها، ويرجح الكثير من الذين أرخوا لها أنها ظهرت في بداية القرن الثاني للهجرة في البصرة. ولم تظهر هذه المدرسة فجأة، وإنما سبقتها فرق وآراء استلهمتها منها. سموا بهذا الاسم لاعتزالهم رأي الأمة في حكم مرتكب الكبيرة. ومؤسس هذه المدرسة هو واصل بن عطاء. إن أهم ما ميز هذه المدرسة وجعل لها كيانا فكريا له هويته المميزة عن غيرها من الفرق هو صياغتها للأصول الخمسة وهي التوحيد والعدل والوعد والوعيد والمنزلة بين المنزلتين والأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر. وفى هذا البحث أحاول أن أسلط الضوء على نشأتها ومناقشة أهم ألقابها وأصولها الخمسة.
