Overview
عاش عبد الله كنون حياته ضمن بيئة تشجع التعليم وتوليه أهمية قصوى، فالثقافة العربية آنذاك كان تزخر بالنتاج العلمي والمنافسة؛ من مؤلفات واختراعات ونظريات فلسفية وأدبية، واكتشافات جغرافية وطبية وعلمية. وذلك كان له أثره، فقد برع عبد الله كنون في نظرته المتفردة لعملية التعليم، باعتبارها عملية متكاملة غير قابلة للتجزئة، فقد أسس لعملية تعليمية تخدم المجتمع بالدرجة الأولى، باعتبار التعليم عامل مهم في صناعة القيم وإعادة إنتاجها، بملازمة التدريب والممارسة، ومواصلة التعليم وتنمية القيم.
