تناول هذا البحث دراسة حديث من الأحاديث المشكلة، فكانت هذه الدراسة التحليلية للإجابة على الإشكالات الواردة عليه، من خلال التركيز على دراسة متن الحديث، ومن خلال عرض أقوال العلماء ومناقشتها إذ قد اختلفت وتباينت، علما بأن هذه الدراسة تصنف ضمن علم \"مشكل الحديث\" الذي يبحث في الأحاديث التي أشكلت على بعض الناس، وكذلك فقد أظهرت هذه الدراسة أن فهم أي حديث، وتحديد معناه، وإزالة الإشكال عنه يجب أن يكون في إطار صفة النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - البشرية.
