Overview
يتميز قاع منخفض وادي النطرون بمستوى عالٍ من الملوحة وتحتله بحيرات ملحية ضحلة والتي تعد من أهم المظاهر الجيومرفولوجية بالمنخفض، وبصفة عامة فإن مناخ منخفض وادي النطرون يتسم بشدة الجفاف، تتراوح التكوينات الجيولوجية بالمنخفض بين الميوسين الأسفل والبليوسين الأسفل بالإضافة إلى رواسب البليستوسين والحديث. تحاول هذه الدراسة تحديد فاعلية استخدام مؤشرات الاستشعار عن بعد في استنباط السبخات بمنخفض وادي النطرون باستخدام صور القمر الصناعي لاندسات OLI 8 إرجاعًا إلى بيانات فعلية للتحليلات المعملية لعينات تربة السبخات والتي تم جمعها من خلال الدراسة الميدانية. ولتحقيق ذلك، تم تطبيق نماذج الانحدار الخطي والمتعدد بين ملوحة التربة والتوصيل الكهربائي (ECe) من ناحية ومؤشرات الاستشعار عن بعد من ناحية أخرى، حيث كان لمؤشر NDSI أعلى معامل ارتباط قدره 0.872، تبي ذلك اشتقاق مؤشر ملوحة التربة المحسن بالاعتماد على النطاقات الطيفية (NIR) و2 (SWIR) ومؤشر NDVI، وكان لهذا المؤشر ارتباط أعلى من NDSI مع التوصيل الكهربائي (ECe) بلغ 0.918.
