هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة هل يمكن التنبؤ بالإبداع الفني لدى الطلاب عينة الدراسة من خلال درجاتهم على مقياس أنماط الاستثارات الفائقة، وذلك في ضوء نظرية التفكك الإيجابي لدابروسكي وتكون مقياس الاستثارات الفائقة من (٥٠) فقرة تتبع تدريج ليكرت الخماسي (لا تنطبق إطلاقا، لا تنطبق كثيرا، تنطبق إلى حدا ما، تنطبق كثيرا، تنطبق دائما)، وطبق على عينة مكونة من (٤٠) طالب وطالبة من كلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة أسيوط، وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث، أن كل من الاستثارة الحسية الفائقة، والاستثارة العقلية الفائقة، والاستثارة الانفعالية الفائقة تسهم في التنبؤ بالأداء على مقياس الإبداع.
