Overview
هدفت الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة (من ذوي الإعاقة السمعية والبصرية)، مع توضيح مفهوم الإعاقة، وبعض المعوقات التي تحول دون دمجهم في المجتمع. وتم خلال الدراسة إلقاء الضوء على عدد من معاهد رعاية ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وعدد المستفيدين من هذه الرعاية. وقد شملت الدراسة على عينة من المعوقين سمعيا وبصريا في مدينة دمشق وبلغت 70 معوقا، مع مراعاة الجنس، في الفترة الزمنية 2008، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، واستخدمت أداة المقابلة، وخلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من المقترحات، التي من شأنها إعادة دمجهم كعناصر نشطة في المجتمع.
