Overview
تمتلك محافظة طرطوس العديد من مقومات ومعالم الجذب السياحي الأمر الذي أدى إلى نشوء مجموعة من الأنشطة السياحية، حيث تراوحت وتفاوتت في حجم حضورها بحسب تفاوت حجم الطلب وشكل التعاطي مع النشاط وانسياقا مع مصالح المستثمرين ورؤيتهم للعمل السياحي ومردوده. فظهرت الأنشطة السياحية منها ارتياد الشاطئ حيث يعتبر هذا النشاط أهم مطلب للسياح وبلغ عدد الزائرين حسب إحصائيات عام 2010 للمواقع السياحية 117500 سائح وأيضا نشاط الإقامة ويشمل الإقامة في الشاليهات والشقق المفروشة والإقامة الفندقية ويعتبر نشاط الإطعام الأكثر انتشارا بين الأنشطة بالإضافة إلى السياحة الدينية والثقافية والتنزه.
