هدفت الدراسة للكشف عن درجة توافر مهارات التفكير التاريخي في كتاب التاريخ للصف الرابع الأدبي في العراق، وأثر بعض المتغيرات (النوع، المستوى التعليمي، الخبرة التدريسية)، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (٦٥) مدرس ومدرسة، وقام الباحث بإعداد استبانة تكونت من (٤٧) فقرة، موزعة على (٧) مهارات.
