Overview
يتطرق هذا البحث إلى واحدة من الشخصيات الملكية التي كان لها تأثيرا مهما في تاريخ بلاد الرافدين القديمة، وتتمثل هذه الشخصية بالملك سين-كاشد (١٨٣٣-1865ق.م)، الذي كان يأتي على رأسها حاكما للوركاء إبان مدة العصر البابلي القديم (٢٠٠٤-1595ق.م)، فهذا الملم قد نال شهرة كبيرة في مدينة الوركاء بشكل خاص، وبلاد الرافدين بشكل عام، وذلك بما قام به من منجزات سياسية وعمرانية يأتي تحريره للوركاء من سيطرة ونفوذ ملوك مدينة لارسا المعاصرة للوركاء، ومن ثم تأسيسه لسلالة حاكمة بزعامته، لحكم الوركاء بشكل مستقل بدءا من نحو عام (1865ق.م).
