تعد الصناعة أحد القطاعات الحيوية التي يرتكز عليها اقتصاد المملكة العربية السعودية، وتشمل الصناعات المتعلقة بإنتاج النفط وتكريره، والبتروكيماويات، والمعادن، والصناعات الحربية، إضافة إلى الإسمنت، والبناء، والمعدات، والصناعات الغذائية، وغيرها. بدأت الصناعة في السعودية مع توالي الاكتشافات النفطية في ثلاثينات القرن العشرين الميلادي، وكانت قبل ذلك مقتصره على الحرف التقليدية والصناعات اليدوية. وشهد عهد الملك فهد بن عبد العزيز تطورا صناعيا كبيرا على إثر الخطط الخمسية التي وضعت من قبل وزارة التخطيط السعودية.
