Overview
عرفت فترتي حكم الإسبان والعثمانيين لمدينة وهران العديد من الإنجازات المعمارية خاصة منها ذات الطابع الدفاعي لما تكتسيه من أهمية لضمان أمن وحماية المدينة من الغزو الخارجي، فكان هناك نمو وتطور تدريجي ومميز للنظام الدفاعي للمدينة بدءا من الاحتلال الإسباني الأول إلى نهاية الحكم العثماني الثاني بها، مثلته تلك التحصينات المتنوعة والموزعة على مواضع مختلفة من المدينة وفقا للمهمة التي أنشأت لأجلها.
