يختص البحث بدراسة النصوص من (١- ١٨) من إنجيل متى كونها تتضمن مادة مركزة عن التحذير من الرياء. جاء البحث في مقدمة وتمهيد وأربعة مباحث وخاتمة. قام الباحث بتحليل النصوص ثم الرجوع إلى تفسيرات علماء النصارى، ثم عرض نماذج من آيات القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية التي حذرت من الرياء، ثم مقارنة كل منهما بنصوص متى، ثم نقد ما خالف العقيدة الإسلامية. وكان من نتائج البحث: صحة نصوص إنجيل متى التي تم دراستها؛ نظرا لتشابهها مع القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية في التحذير من الرياء، فقد خرجا من مصدر الوحي الإلهي، وهذه النتيجة حجة على النصارى تدعوهم للتصديق بنبوة محمد -عليه الصلاة والسلام-. وأظهرت النصوص أن الله سيحاسب الناس يوم القيامة وليس المسيح كما يزعم النصارى.
