تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى دراسة ظاهرة النمو المحابي للفقر في الجزائر من خلال قياس أثر معدلات كل من النمو، البطالة وأيضا التفاوت في توزيع الدخل (كمتغيرات مستقلة)، على معدل الفقر (كمتغير تابع) باستخدام بيانات سنوية خلال الفترة 1988 - 2017. بالاستعانة على نموذج الانحدار الذاتي للفجوات الزمنية الموزعة المتباطئةARDL ، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود علاقة طردية بين كل من معامل جيني (ممثلا لمعدل التفاوت) ومعدل البطالة مع معدل الفقر، وعلاقة عكسية بين معدل النمو ومعدل الفقر وذلك في المدى الطويل، وهو ما يؤكد وجود نمو محابي للفقراء في الجزائر.
