تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على آليات متابعة تطبيق معايير العمل الدولية على المستوى الوطني، بغرض تقرير وحماية حقوق العمال، في الدول أعضاء منظمة العمل الدولية. وقد خلصت هذه الدراسة إلى أن دستور منظمة العمل الدولية ومختلف الإعلانات اللاحقة له، وضع نظام إشراف ومتابعة دولي فريد ومتنوع تناط به مهمة الرقابة على التدابير والإجراءات المتخذة من طرف هذه الدول من أجل ضمان تطبيق معايير العمل الدولية على مستوى تشريعاتها الداخلية.
