Overview
اللغة العربية لغة معيارية في أبنيتها وصيغها وتسير وفق أنظمة لغوية مألوفة، وقد أقام النحاة واللغويون مباحثهم اللغوية على تحقيق المستوى التقعيدي للغة، ورعاية الأداء المثالي للألفاظ والتراكيب. وطور تمام حسان منهجا جديدا من التراث النحوي معتمدا على منهج من مناهج الدرس اللغوي الحديث، ويعد صاحب أجرأ محاولة شاملة لإعادة ترتيب الأفكار اللغوية التي تجري بعد سيبويه، وعبد القاهر الجرجاني، وكانت أفكاره تبعث في العقل اللغوي فضل تأمل، وطول تدبر، وقد تزود تمام حسان من المنابع الأصلية للتراث العربي، ويضاف إلى هذا معاصرته لأهم المناهج الحديثة، فأخذ على يد فيرث (Firth) رائد مدرسة السياق، ولقد أطلع على نظرية تشومسكي (Chomsky) فاستنطق التراث العربي، واستمد تجديده من علم اللغة الحديث.
