تبرز أهمية هذا البحث في تقديمه دراسة تحليلية نقدية للملامح الإسلامية في شعر علي أحمد بأكثير المتمثل في ديوانه \"أزهار الربى في شعر الصبا\"، وذلك بالاعتماد على ثلاث ركائز؛ هي سلامة العقيدة، وأثر النصوص القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية في شعر الأديب، وتصوير المرأة، وقد خلص البحث إلى أن شعر بأكثير قائم على التصور الإسلامي للكون والإنسان والحياة، وذلك من خلال سلامة العقيدة وصحة الاقتباس والاستدلال بالقرآن الكريم والسنة المطهرة، إلا أنه يؤخذ على الشاعر مخالفته المنهج الإسلامي في تصويره المرأة.
