تحول الخطاب الغرافيتي المعاصر من فن بسيط إلى فن معبر ومعقد يسعي الفرد من خلاله إلى فرض كينونته، يعده سبيلا ومتنفسا للتعبير عن نفسه، ونظرا لأهمية هذا الموضوع سعت هذه الدراسة لمعالجة مجموعة من الثنائيات الضدية كصراع الرجل والمرأة، والموطن والمسؤول، والعرب والغرب، عبر تمثلاتها على جدران الشوارع، محاولين تقصي الدلالات المتوارية خلف بنياتها السطحية، في عرض الخطابات المحظورة والمسكوت عنها.
