يسعى البحث للوقوف عند تجليات الآخر/المرأة في شعر حسان بن ثابت، متخذاً من موضوعة الائتلاف والاختلاف ميداناً تطبيقاً للسعي المقصود، معتمدين في رصدنا البواعث النفسية والاجتماعية التي تؤثر على رؤية الشاعر ونسج تصوراته بشأن المنظور إليه سواء أكان مؤتلفاً أم مختلفاً، مبرزين عبر الشواهد الشعرية صورة المرأة بتجلياتها المتنوعة، والكشف أيضاً -عبر الشواهد الشعرية- عن جانب أو مَعْلم من معالم شاعرية حسان وبيان قدرته على توظيف معطيات الواقع المعيش والإفادة من الروافد المتنوعة وصولاً إلى تمكنه من نسج صوره بطريقة تستدعي التأمل والإعجاب فضلاً عن الكشف عن قدرته في التلاعب في الألفاظ والتراكيب بطريقة تؤكد شاعريته وإبداعه.
