يهدف هذا البحث الى التعرف على الاهمية الاقتصادية للتأمين من خلال الدور الفعال الذي يقوم به على الصعيدين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي. وقد أشرنا الى ذلك من خلال اطلاعنا على التقارير السنوية لشركة التأمين الوطنية، ووجدنا بان التأمين يساهم في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، وقد توصلت نتائج البحث الى تحقيق الغرض المنشود من فرضية البحث التي تشير الى وجود علاقة معنوية مترابطة بين اقساط التأمين والتطور الاقتصادي للبلد بدرجة كبيرة نوعا ما.
