Overview
تهدف هذه الورقة إلى تسليط الضوء على سياسة استهداف التضخم باعتبارها سياسة نقدية حديثة طبقت لأول مرة عام 1990. حيث تبنتها العديد من الدول المتقدمة وذات الأسواق حديثة المنشأة مع التركيز على أهم متطلبات تبنى هذه السياسة، ومزاياها، بالإضافة إلى تجارب بعض الدول المطبقة لسياسة استهداف التضخم. وقد توصلت الورقة إلى أن سياسة استهداف التضخم رغم حداثتها إلا أنها حققت نجاحا في الدول التي طبقتها، حيث انخفضت معدلات التضخم لديها، وفى المقابل حققت معدلات نمو اقتصادي جيدة. كما توصلت إلى أن الحكم على مدى فاعلية سياسة استهداف التضخم في أي دولة مرتبط بمدى توافر شروط تطبيق هذه السياسة في تلك الدولة.
