يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف إلى: مبادئ التدريس الديمقراطي لدى مدرسي الاجتماعيات في المرحلة الإعدادية. وهل هناك فروق تبعا لمتغير الجنس، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قام الباحث بإعداد مقياس لمبادئ التدريس الديمقراطي تم إخضاعه للتحليل الإحصائي، واستخراج الخصائص السايكومترية من صدق وثبات، وقد أظهرت النتائج امتلاك أفراد عينة البحث مبادئ التدريس الديمقراطي بدرجة (عالية) ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) تبعا لمتغير الجنس (ذكور-إناث).
