يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف إلى مهارات التفكير المستقبلي لدى مدرسي الاجتماعيات في المرحلة الإعدادية ولتحقيق أهداف البحث اعد الباحث مقياس مهارات التفكير المستقبلي مكون من (٣٢) فقرة موزعة على خمسة محاور وبعد إيجاد صدق المقياس وثباته، تم تطبيقه على عينة مكونة من (٢٨٠) مدرسا ومدرسة وبعد جمع البيانات وتحليلها أظهرت النتائج احتلال مهارة التنبؤ المستقبلي الرتبة الأولى، بينما احتلت مهارة اتخاذ القرار الرتبة الأخيرة من مهارات التفكير المستقبلي الخمس.
