Overview
مما لا شك فيه أن علم الاجتماع في تونس من العلوم الحديثة العهد يعود في نشأته إلى ستينات القرن الماضي حيث تم إدراجه في صلب الجامعة التونسية على يد ثلة من الأساتذة الفرنسيين. فهل يمكن الحديث عن إنتاج سوسيولوجي مميز للمختص في علم الاجتماع عن بقية النخبة المثقفة في تونس؟ إلى أي مدى استطاع أن يتموقع في سياق الإنتاج السوسيولوجي؟ إذ يمكن اعتبار النخبة من أدوات التحليل السوسيولوجي للواقع الاجتماعي والفكري، وفي سياق الإنتاج السوسيولوجي العربي المعاصر تقوم وظائف النخبة على ثنائية الوظيفة الفكرية ذات البعد الثقافي والوظيفة السياسية ذات البعد التسييري، ولا نستثني هنا التجربة التونسية.
