ناقش البحث دراسة الوجود اليهودي في إنكلترا لما له من أهمية كبيرة في تلك الفترة، إذ كان لهذا الوجود دور وتأثير مهم على السلطة الملكية وانسجم هذا الدور من خلال وجودهم المباشر في داخل المملكة (إنكلترا)، وكيف بدأت بوادر هذا الوجود، ومن ثم اصبح لهذا الوجود تأثير مباشر على الأوضاع السياسية والاقتصادية والثقافية والاجتماعية بشكل مباشر وغير مباشر على المسيرة التاريخية لشعوب العالم بأسره فيما بعد، ويبدو الأمر اكثر وضوحا عندما أصبحت الأحول الأوربية مقدمة لازمة وصراعات سياسية، كما كان لهذا الوجود في إنكلترا صدى عميق ومباشر في إشعال صراع بين المجتمع والسلطة الحاكمة.
