Overview
يهدف هذا البحث إلى رصد أهم الأسباب والدوافع والتصورات التي تقف وراء ظاهرة الهجرة السرية (غير النظامية) عبر القوارب الصغيرة انطلاقا من شواطئ الشرق الجزائري، لاسيما من شواطئ ولاية عنابة التي تحولت إلى مركز عبور لآلاف الأشخاص نحو جزيرة سردينيا الإيطالية وبيئة حاضنة لشبكات تهريب المهاجرين السريين. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أهمية الأسباب الاجتماعية والمادية، كالفقر والبطالة بالدرجة الأولى في دفع أفراد العينة لمحاولات الهجرة، إضافة إلى عوامل أخرى، كالاغتراب وتأثير تكنولوجيات الاتصال على بعض الفئات ذات المستوى المادي المقبول.
