Overview
تهدف هذه الدارسة البحثية إلى تبيان الأثر الواقع على السياحة الدولية جراء تفشي كوفيد 19 بشكل كبير لدى كبرى الأسواق السياحية في العالم، بحيث تم رصد وتحليل الإحصائيات الرسمية الصادرة عن منظمة السياحة العالمية للفترة التي تلت تفشي الجائحة (2020-2021). وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن السياحية الدولية لم تشهد ضررا مماثلا رغم عديد الهزات التي مرت بها سابقا، وأن الخسائر التي تكبدتها كانت أكبر بكثير من توقعات الهيئات المختصة في مستهل الأزمة الصحية، الأمر الذي يصعب من إمكانية التعافي السريع للقطاع.
