سلط المقال الضوء على موضوع بعنوان الحكاية الشعبية ما كان وما ننتظر أن يكون. أشار المقال إلى أن الحكاية هي أبدا عابرة أجيال، فهي لا تنسب لفرد يعينه، ولكنها إبداع جماعي في حلها وترحالها وأحوالها وصراعها في سبيل حياتها. أكد على أن الحكاية ما هي إلا إبداع إنسان، مهما كانت خصوصيته الثقافية. ولم يكن جمع الحكاية الشعبية منفصلا في أذهان كبار الدارسين عن مشاغلهم الفكرية ولبم يكن في كل أحواله جمعًا لمجرد الجمع. ولقد ساعدت الحكاية الشعبية والتراث الشعبي علماء الاجتماع في بناء تصورات نظرية لما كانت عليه حياة الإنسان في مراحل مختلفة. اختتم المقال بالإشارة إلى بعض كبار ورواد في الحكاية الشعبية فهم وضعوا أسس منهجيه لها منهم نبيلة إبراهيم وأحمد مرسي. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل المنظومة 2022
