Overview
كشفت الورقة البحثية عن إشكالية ممارسة الديمقراطية داخل المجتمعات العربية. اقتضى العرض المنهجي للورقة تقسيمها إلى ثلاثة محاور. تناول المحور الأول البعد الدلالي والتاريخي للديمقراطية. أشار المحور الثاني إلى القيم والمبادئ التي تنبني عليها الديمقراطية. أوضح المحور الثالث أنماط الديمقراطية. اختتمت الورقة ببيان أنه على الرغم من وجود أزمة الديمقراطية إلا أنه لا يوجد نقد للنظام الديمقراطي نفسه، فلا يوجد أحد ينتقد الديمقراطية بالمعنى الدقيق نظرا للمشاكل التي نمر بها خاصة القادة السياسيون الذين يروا بأننا لابد أن نواجه مشكلاتنا بمزيد من الديمقراطية، ويقسمون بأنهم سيقلصوا من البيروقراطية ويصبحوا أكثر شفافية ويقدمون خدمات أفضل، لكنهم لا يشككون في الرغبة في النظام الديمقراطي نفسه. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل المنظومة 2022
