نحاول من خلال هذه الدراسة قراءة مصطلحي \"الالتزام\" و\"الحداثة\" باعتبار أهميتهما في الخطاب النقدي الجزائري بصفة عامة، والمشهد النقدي المصايفي بصفة خاصة، وكذلك الوقوف عند نقاط التلاقي بين المفهومين، ومنه يمكن أن نتساءل بداية عن مفهوم كليهما، وعن العلاقة التي تحكمهما حسب الناقد الجزائري \"محمد مصايف\". وفي سبيل ذلك، استعنا بإجرائي الوصف والتحليل من أجل الخوض في الموضوع، والإحاطة به وفق ما تمليه الرؤية المصايفية.
