تهدف الدراسة للتبع مسيرة الفنان الشامل عبد الرحمن بلاص من خلال مجهـوده الثقافي والغنائي والإبداعي، وهو من رواد الغناء الهادف في السودان، ومن اللذين يشار إليهم بالبنان، تنبع أهمية الدراسة من كونها توثق لواحدة من الشخصيات السودانية التـي أسهمت في مسيرة الثقافة والإبداع السوداني. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي الوصفي للوصول للنتائج والتي من أهمها: شخصية بلاص الإبداعية أسهمت في انتشار أغنية الطمبور وغيرها من الأغاني، تميزت حيـاة ومسيرة الفنان عبد الرحمن بلاص بالتطور والجيد في مجال الفن والإبداع والثقافة.
