يسعي هذا البحث- وهو بعنوان «همزية حسان بن ثابت رضي الله عنه في الدفاع عن الإسلام (مقاربة أسلوبية)»- إلى الكشف عن السمات الأسلوبية في هذه القصيدة، وهي خير مثال تتجلى فيه صورة الشاعر المسلم في الدفاع عن الإسلام، وقد حرص الشاعر أن يمنحها سمات محددة وواضحة، تكشف عن موقفه ورؤاه، وتكون سبيلا إلى بلوغ غايتها في النيل من أعداء الدين. وقد توسل الباحث بالمنهج الأسلوبي، للإفصاح عن مكنونات هذه القصيدة، والكشف عن سماتها الأسلوبية، فدرسها صوتيا وإيقاعيا وتركيبيا ودلاليا، وعالج أبرز الصور الشعرية وأكثرها توظيفا في هذا النص.
