تفرض علينا النظرة الموضوعية أن نقر بأن طبيعة الكتابة الأدبية والتاريخية في مرحلة الأمير عبد القادر وفهمها فهما صحيحا متماشيا مع الواقع والحقيقة لا يتأتى إلا بدراسة تعتمد على الشواهد المادية والمصادر الأرشيفية الأساسية وتستند إلى المخطوطات والوثائق الأصلية التي يجب التحقيق فيها والتحقق منها، ويتطلب هذا الاهتمام العناية بعملية الجرد الأثري كضرورة علمية وعملية قبل الشروع في تأليف أي عمل أكاديمي، كما لا يتأتى ذلك إلا ضمن تصور شامل بين الضفتين، ويأخذ بعين الاعتبار مجموع العوامل المتعلقة بفترة الاستعمار والحركية التاريخية لعصر الأمير.
