Overview

Language is a special cultural system, it is an integral part of the overall human culture, it contains a number of information about the entire human cultural system. As Mr. (Zhang Gongjin) said in \"Cultural Linguistics\": \"When studying the relationship between language and culture, we regard language as an integral part of culture, and we can get a lot of cultural information through language research. The part contains the whole information, which is the self¬-similarity between language and culture. This kind of thinking and method liberates linguistics from pure language research, and studies language from the perspectives of cultural studies, sociology, ethnology, and psychology, which makes the research perspectives wider, the research results more objective, and promotes Cross-linking and research between multiple disciplines. Thirty years after the publication of \"Language and Culture\", many experts and scholars have successively published related works, such as \"Cultural Linguistics\" edited by Mr.(Xing Fuyi), Mr. (Xing)believes that \"Cultural Linguistics is the study of the relationship between language and culture. Science, therefore, is related to linguistic and cultural studies, and is an interdisciplinary subject of linguistics and cultural studies.\" The idiomatic expressions is to regard people's abstract and vague thoughts, emotions, mental activities, events, states and other intangible concepts as concrete and tangible entities and substances. Such ontological things account for the majority in modern Chinese and Arabic idiomatic expressions. The author makes statistics and analyzes the symbolic meaning of the organs in the collected Chinese and Arabic idiomatic expressions.
