Overview
كانت نظرية النظم الجرجانية-ولا تزال-صرحًا عملاقًا وجد فيه علماء اللغة ملاذهم في كتاباتهم، سواء منهم القدامى والمحدثون، خاصة المهتمون بمجال الدرس اللغوي، ولكننا في العصر الحديث نجد من يتحدث عن نظرية أخرى تحت مسمى نظرية السياق، مع نسبتها إلى علماء اللغة الغربيين، تحمل في طياتها كل أساسيات نظرية النظم، بل لا يكاد القارئ المتمعن فيهما أن يجد فرقًا بينهما سوى التسمية، فهذه نظرية النظم، والأخرى نظرية السياق. فكان ذلك لي دافعًا إلى كتابة هذا البحث؛ لأبين ذلك، ولأعطي كل ذي حقٍ حقه. وعليه سيكون مدار البحث حول ثلاث نقاط مهمة: أولأ-التعريف اللغوي والاصطلاحي للنظم. ثانيًا-مفهوم النظم عند القدامى والمحدثين. ثالثا-تطور مفهوم النظم.
