Overview
Never has there been an area so ignored in the field of safety as traffic management. Jordan, one among the countries that suffer from high road fatalities and road issues, stands as a grim example of what we could all face if we were to ignore traffic issues. This study involves a design and planning of 5.5 km two way two lane highway to ensure safe and effective transportation of people and good between two small cities in northern part of Jordan within the branch of highway engineering standards. In This study, the geometric roadway design can be broken into three main parts: alignment, profile, and cross-section. Combined, they provide a three-dimensional layout for a roadway.
