موضوع التدخل الإنساني يهدف إلى معرفة التطورات التي مر بها عبر أزمان طويلة، والتعرف على اختلافات الفقه الدولي في تحديد فعالية حماية حقوق الإنسان وتكمن مشكلة البحث في تحديد الوسائل التي تستخدمها الدول للتدخل الإنساني ومتى يحق لها حق التدخل وما هو الواقع العملي المشاهد في دخول الدول بشأن مصالحها الشخصية. والمنهج المتبع في كتابة البحث أتبعنا المنهج التاريخي للتعرف على التطور التاريخي لمفهوم التدخل الإنساني والمنهج التحليل وذلك بتحليل القرارات الدولية والمفاهيم وبيان الموقف الدولي من ممارسة التدخل الإنساني في العراق، والمنهج الوصفي وذلك من أجل الوقوف على وصف الحالات الإنسانية في العراق.
