نهدف من خلال ورقتنا البحثية هذه إلى معرفة واقع عمل المرأة بالمحلات التجارية، حيث أن هذه الأخيرة يتشكل نوع من التصورات والتمثلات حول عملها بالمحل التجاري، وهذا ما دفعنا للبحث عن تلك التمثلات التي يحملها الأفراد تجاهها. واشتملت الدراسة على عينة من أفراد المجتمع بمدينة ورقلة، ولإجراء هذه الدراسة تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي بغية وصف وتحليل وتفسير مختلف التمثلات التي يحملها أفراد المجتمع الورقلي تجاه المرأة العاملة بالمحل التجاري. وللإجابة على تساؤلات الدراسة اعتمدنا على أداتي الملاحظة والمقابلة لجمع البيانات.
